Former Nigeria International, Joseph Dosu has urged Nigerians not to be worried with the below-par performance from the Super Eagles against Guinea Bissau in the first leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday.
His comments are coming on the heels of the Super Eagles 1-0 loss to 118th world ranked Guinea Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja and the Atlanta 96 Olympic gold medalist believes the defeat is a wake-up call.

“We are currently second position on the table and only the two countries would qualify from our group so we should not be worried as football fans rather we should assess the teams and and advise the coach as he is preparation for the reverse fixtures.”
Despite losing to the Wild Dogs, the Super Eagles are second on the group A with six points from three matches and trail table toppers Guinea Bissau with a point, ahead of the reverse fixture on the 27th of March in Bissau.
