By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria striker Terem Moffi showcased his goal-scoring prowess once again as OGC Nice drew 2-2 against Olympique Marseille.

Moffi opened the scoring for Nice after just 13 minutes, demonstrating his clinical finishing ability. Despite Marseille being reduced to 10 men, Nice was held to a draw on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian forward’s goal marked his 11th in 21 Ligue 1 starts this season, continuing his impressive scoring record for OGC Nice.

Moffi’s recent form has been outstanding, with four goals in his last five matches for the Ligue 1 side.

Since his participation in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire, where he helped the Super Eagles to a second-place finish, Moffi has scored five goals, showcasing his prowess on the field.

Notably, Moffi’s goal against Marseille was his fourth against the club, equaling the number of goals he has scored against the prominent Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) side.

The 24-year-old has been a revelation since joining OGC Nice, attracting attention across Europe with his goal-scoring instincts and overall performance.

As one of the hottest properties in Ligue 1 and the Super Eagles, Moffi is likely to receive offers from clubs across Europe in the near future.
