Sanusi and other WAFU B General Secretaries participate in a leadership seminar in Abidjan

The seminar for General Secretaries of CAF West Zone B, along with representatives from Cameroon and Liberia, began on Monday morning at the region’s headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

After a welcome speech from Executive Director Mr. Philippe Tchere, the formal opening was held online, with Mr. Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku, President of West Zone B, presiding over the session.

This two-day event focuses on the theme “Beyond Leadership”. Mr. Patrick D. Cowden leads the training, aiming to improve the management and strategic skills of the participants.

The goal is to support CAF’s effort to professionalise and grow West African football.

The planned talks and workshops will help the General Secretaries think more about governance, communication, and leadership.

These skills are key to helping their federations perform better.
