Magin reveals what win over Plateau United means for Niger Tornadoes

Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Mohammed Magin, expressed that the team’s 2-1 victory over Plateau United in Jos was a testament to their determination to achieve greatness this season.

This win marks back-to-back away victories for the Minna-based club in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League.

Magin explained how they managed to secure the unexpected result: “We planned for this win; our strategy worked perfectly, and the players executed their roles exceptionally well.”

He noted that while Plateau United would push hard, their defense remained solid throughout the match. “The win is a testament to our team’s hard work and determination.”

Reflecting on past encounters, he added, “They came to Kaduna and beat us last season, and we always had this in mind—that’s why we prepared so well for them.”

Magin recounted the team’s mentality, stating, “Tornadoes have been playing home matches away from home for a while now, so I can say it has become a mentality for them because they see every away game as a home game.”

Looking ahead, Niger Tornadoes will face Insurance FC in Matchday Four, as they continue their quest for success this season.
