Real Madrid Women secured a narrow 2–1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in their UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage clash on Wednesday, making it two wins from two for the Spanish side.

The visitors took the lead in the 29th minute through Naomie Feller, who converted from Yasmim’s assist.

Just before halftime, Athenea del Castillo Redondo doubled Madrid’s advantage in the 45+2 minute, giving them a comfortable lead heading into the break.

Rasheedat Ajibade pulled one back for the French champions in the 58th minute, finishing off Sakina Karchaoui’s delivery with a superb header to halve the deficit.

Despite late pressure from the hosts, Real Madrid held firm to claim all three points and continue their perfect start to the campaign.

The result leaves Madrid top of their group with six points, while PSG remain in search of their first win in this season’s competition.
