Moses Bako Nagogo hails Rasheedat Ajibade Coaching Scholarship

Prominent women’s football advocate, Moses Nagogo Bako, has commended for her outstanding commitment to grassroots development, describing her recent initiative as a true reflection of exemplary leadership and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Bako made this known while reacting to the successful matriculation of 25 coaches under the Rasheedat Ajibade Coaching Scholarship Programme.

According to him, Ajibade’s continuous investment in human capital, particularly in empowering coaches, goes beyond football and speaks volumes about her character, values, and sense of purpose.

“This is more than just a scholarship programme,” Bako stated. “It is a clear demonstration of exemplary leadership and a life influenced by godly principles. Rasheedat Ajibade has shown that true success is not only measured by personal achievements but by how many lives one is able to impact positively.”

He further noted that the initiative will significantly contribute to the growth and structure of grassroots football in Nigeria, especially in the women’s game, where technical development remains a key factor.

Bako also urged other stakeholders and players to emulate such acts of service and intentional development, stressing that sustainable progress in football can only be achieved through deliberate investment in people.

The matriculation of the 25 coaches marks a major milestone in the foundation’s vision to build capacity and create long-term impact across Nigerian football, with many already describing it as a step in the right direction for the future of the sport.
