Maduka Okoye Keeps Ninth Serie A Clean Sheet in Udinese Win Over Torino

Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye produced another assured display as he recorded his ninth clean sheet of the Serie A season in Udinese’s 2–0 victory over Torino.

The Super Eagles’ shot-stopper remained composed and focused throughout the match, delivering a calm performance between the posts.

Although he was not frequently called into action, Okoye made a crucial save to deny Torino and preserve his clean sheet.

He also impressed with his communication at the back and dealt confidently with crosses, helping Udinese to a comfortable win.

Okoye hopes his top form enables Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, to make him the top choice ahead of next engagements, especially the Unity Cup. He was in action during the last international matches against Iran.
