2026 Women’s AFCON Draw Unveiled as Tournament Groups Promise Fireworks

The stage is set for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, with the group-stage draw delivering a series of mouth-watering matchups that underline the growing depth and competitiveness of African women’s football.

Group A features hosts Morocco, who will be tested by Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya in what promises to be a fiercely contested opening group.

In Group B, former champions South Africa headline a competitive pool that includes Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania.

Group C is arguably the group of death, with record champions Nigeria drawn alongside Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi, setting up several high-stakes clashes from the outset.

Meanwhile, Group D sees Ghana grouped with traditional heavyweights Cameroon, Mali, and Cape Verde, ensuring another unpredictable battle for knockout places.
