2023 KBSL Super 4 Day 1 Wrap: Iliyasu Sports, Magatakarda BSC got off to fine start

Iliyasu Sports Beach Soccer Club (BSC) and Magatakarda BSC got their campaigns off to victorious starts in the 2022/2023 Kebbi Beach Soccer League (KBSL) Super 4 opener on Thursday at Sani Abacha Bypass, Birnin Kebbi.

The top four teams from Groups A and B at the end of the regular season started their campaign with victories as Iliyasu Sports BSC defeated Marshal Academy BSC 4-3 in the opening game with the winning team’s player, Usman Bush emerging as the Man of the match.

In the second game, Magatakarda BSC earned an 8-4 win against Dallatun Kalgo BSC, with Magatakarda BSC’s Usman Bello being voted the Man of the match.

Matchday two on Friday will see Dallatun Kalgo BSC and Marshall Academy BSC attempt to return to winning ways after both sides’ opening matchday defeats.

The two winning teams, Magatakarda BSC and Iliyasu Sports BSC will square up in the second game with a sight on the title for the side that can pick a win.

The winner of the Super 4 on Saturday will be crowned the Champions of the 2022/2023 Kebbi Beach Soccer League.
