NPFL: Mbwas Mangut rues Enugu Rangers’ missed chances against Niger Tornadoes

Rangers International of Enugu chief coach, Mbwas Mangut lamented his side numerous missed chances in the a 2-2 draw against Niger Tornadoes in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League encounter in Awka.
Chidiebere Nwobodo and Kenneth Obinna Igboke fired the Flying Antelopes into a two-goal lead at half time but Munir Idris netted twice in the second half to rescue the Ikon Allah Boys from defeat at the Awka City Stadium.
Irked by the slip up, Magnut blamed lost of concentration, while vowing to put up a better display in their next game.
“This was a big disappointment from us in a game we had total dominance,” he told media.
“We surrendered in fourteen minutes of the second half. It is very painful and we now have to work extra to salvage these lost points on the road in our next match.”
After accumulating 15 points from 14 games, Rangers are eighth on the NPFL group B and are just three points above the relegation waters. They will square up against Dakkada in their next game on the 23rd of April.
