CAF Confederation Cup: Aso Chlef land in Benin City for Bendel Insurance

Aso Chlef are scheduled to land in Benin for the CAF Confederations Cup tie with Bendel Insurance on August 16.

The Algerian side will be facing the Benin Arsenal in the first leg of the encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on August 20.

Aso Chlef have not progressed past the second round in the CAF Confederations Cup on two occasions, the first in 2006 and they were also eliminated in the second round in 2007.

Coincidentally, like Bendel Arsenal winning the Nigeria Federation Cup, the Chalfawa also won the Algerian Cup as the match promises to be a cracker.

Insurance have only made one appearance at the CAF Confederations Cup which came in 2005 when they were eliminated in the second round.
