Bayelsa United to Embark on Preseason Tour

Bayelsa United is set to embark on a preseason tour following the resumption of training at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Monday, July 22, 2024.

The team participated in a light training session under the guidance of their new head coach, Ladan Bosso. Bosso, returning for his second spell with the club, previously led Bayelsa United to a continental place during his first tenure.

The Prosperity Boys will undertake a closed-door preseason camp in Omoku, Rivers State, as they prepare for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Bayelsa United narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of the previous NPFL season by securing a crucial 2-0 victory against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.

The Yenagoa-based team is expected to strengthen their squad ahead of the next season, aiming for a more successful campaign.
