CAFCC: Elkanemi Warriors beg for support ahead of Dadje visit

Elkanemi Warriors have appealed to football fans in Ikenne and it’s environs to rally the team ahead of their first round first leg clash of the Caf Confederation Cup against Dadje.

The Borno Army will be hosting their counterpart from Benin Republic at the Remo Stars’ Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday.

The Maiduguri based club will be playing at an adopted stadium as their home ground could not meet CAF requirements to host continental games.

Elkanemi Warriors are however soliciting the support of all Nigerians to get behind the team and also make it to the stadium to cheer them to a convincing victory.

“Get ready for the action. Our CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round match.

“Mark your calendars and come cheer us on to victory! We are warriors. We are El-Kanemi,” the club wrote on their official X account.

This is the first time in over three decades Elkanemi Warriors will playing on the continent haven participated in 1992.
