Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke has made a successful return to full training at Spanish club Sevilla after a lengthy 90-day injury absence.
The Super Eagles forward suffered the setback during Sevilla’s heavy 5-1 loss to Barcelona at Camp Nou last October.
However, after months of recovery, Ejuke was celebrated by his teammates upon his return, receiving a guard of honour, as shown in a photo shared by the club on social media.
Ejuke, who had been in excellent form before the injury, is now in line to feature in Sevilla’s upcoming La Liga match against Girona on Saturday.
The 27-year-old had previously been named Sevilla’s Player of the Month for October, following a series of impressive performances for the Rojiblancos.
His return is expected to boost Sevilla’s attack as they continue their push in the league.
