“Completely false” – Iheanacho’s agent denies Al Ahly interest in Nigerian winger

Roger Witman, the agent of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho, has dismissed rumors linking his client with a move to Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly.

The 28-year-old Super Eagles winger has been the subject of transfer speculation, with reports suggesting an interest from the Cairo-based club. However, Iheanacho’s agent firmly denied the claims, asserting that no contact had been made by Al Ahly.

“No one from Egypt has contacted us to talk about the footballer, so therefore the news is completely false,” Witman told AS.

Iheanacho has struggled to make an impact at Sevilla since joining the La Liga club, failing to score or register an assist in nine league appearances this season. Despite this, his agent has not ruled out a potential move from Sevilla during the ongoing transfer window.
