Chijioke Mbaoma: Nigerian striker joins Libyan side Al Ittihad from Heartland

Nigerian striker Chijioke Mbaoma has signed a two-year contract with top Libyan side Al-Ittihad.

This move comes just days after he joined Heartland FC from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Mbaoma is set to join his new club by the weekend, participating in their preparations for both league and continental competitions.

Last season, he was the NPFL’s top scorer, netting 17 goals and providing four assists, and he also earned the Player of the Season award.

At just 21 years old, Mbaoma is expected to make a significant impact in the Libyan League, building on his impressive performance during his time at Enyimba.
