Evelyn Ijeh at the double as Vaxjo end four-match winless run

Nigeria-eligible forward Evely Ijeh scored two goals as Vaxjo secured a 2-1 win against Orebro in the Swedish Dammalsvenkan encounter on Sunday.
The team had not won any of its last four league games leading to the encounter at the Behrn Arena, Orebro, while the hosts, on the other hand, has won one of its last five league games.
Alexandra Jonasson set up Ijeh who scored the first goal for the visitors in the 10th minute.
19 minutes later, Ijeh doubled the lead for Vaxjo from Juliette Kemppi’s assist.
Three minutes later, Maja Bodin reduced the deficit for the host off Regan Steigleder’s assist.
Ijeh saw 89 minutes of action before she was replaced by Hanna Stokki after scoring her ninth league goal of the campaign.
The win catapulted Vaxjo to the eighth position on the log with 17 points from 16 games and they will next face Kalmar on July 9.
