Fenerbahce offer lucrative new deal to Bright Osayi-Samuel amid European interest

By Dayo Awoniyi

Fenerbahce have offered Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel a new contract in an effort to fend off growing interest from top European clubs.

Negotiations between the Turkish club and the player’s representatives are said to be progressing positively.

The proposed deal includes a substantial pay raise from his current €2.5 million salary, underscoring Fenerbahce’s intent to keep the 26-year-old in Istanbul.

Osayi-Samuel, who joined Fenerbahce in 2021, has become a key figure in the squad, making 171 appearances and registering 7 goals and 15 assists from his wing-back position.

His performances have attracted attention from several clubs in England and across Europe.

Fenerbahce’s move signals a strong commitment to retaining core players as they continue to compete for domestic and European honours.
