Former Liverpool star tips Victor Osimhen ahead of Kai Havertz

Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol has tipped Victor Osimhen ahead of Kai Havertz.

Nicol advocated for Arsenal to ditch the German international for the Nigerian forward, resonates that, Osimhen is a better finisher than Havertz who racks up many chances while scoring few goals while the Super Eagles striker is a proven goal scorer.

“If somebody said to you, you can either have [Kai] Havertz or [Victor] Osimhen. Are you really going to take Havertz?” Nicol was quoted by ESPN.

“You are not going to take in a million years over Osimhen. So, if you can afford it, I agree with Shaka’s point.

“When it really matters and you have only one chance in a game, again the question is it going to be Havertz or Osimhen.

“Everybody will say he scored in the Champions League final but the truth is he takes too many chances to score that Osimhen won’t.”

Osimhen has been linked with Chelsea, PSG and a move to the Saudi Arabia Premier League in the summer transfer window.
