Paris 2024: Onome Ebi aims dig at NFF as Marta reaches Olympics final

Nigeria international Onome Ebi has extended her congratulations to Brazil and their captain, Marta, for reaching the final of the Olympics.
Brazil defeated World Champions Spain 4-2 in the semifinals after losing to the same side 2-0 in the group stage.
Nigeria also faced both teams in the group stage and suffered 1-0 losses while Brazil entered the knockout stages as one of the best losers.
Meanwhile, Ebi, the former Super Falcons captain was not selected for the Olympics after which she alluded Marta.
The 41-year-old is a veteran of numerous international tournaments, including six Women’s World Cups and the 2008 Olympic Games, and remains a significant figure in Nigerian football.
“Big congratulations to Brazil and the United States of America on qualifying to the finals of the Olympics 2024,” she posted on Facebook
“Personally I’m super proud and inspired by the leadership of Marta.
“You deserve all the Honour, Respect and Happiness football can give to you at this stage of your career. You are an inspiration. You and your Country deserve all you’ve gotten at the ongoing Olympics 2024.
“Good luck in the finals , may the best team win .”
