Robo Queens midfielder, Esther Onyenezide feels elated with the club’s 1-0 shock win against Nasarawa Amazons at the Snake Farm Stadium, Keffi
Onyenezide scored a 90th minute screamer from the edge of the penalty box to scoop a crucial away win for the Lagos Landladies against the Solid Babes in Keffi and the Super Falcons star is reveling in her late matchwinner.
“I feel very happy and excited scoring a goal against Nasarawa Amazons in the 90th minute,” Onyenezide told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“It wasn’t easy playing a derby game away from home, but I thank God that he came through for us. I feel elated, yes I believe with God all things are possible for making this match a win for us, I thank God for it.”
The win against Nasarawa Amazons catapulted Robo Queens to the top of the NWFL Premiership abridged group B with 16 points from nine matches.
The Lagos Landladies will visit Edo Queens for their next match on the 29th of March at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin.
