Morocco 2025: Algeria conducts initial training session in preparation for match against Flamingos

The Algerian U-17 Women’s National Football Team, known as the Fennecs, commenced their training for the pivotal FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria’s Flamingos with their first session at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Thursday, April 17th.
The first leg of this decisive qualifying round is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th, at 4 PM at the same venue in Ikenne-Remo, Nigeria.
The second leg will occur in Blida, Algeria, on Friday, April 25th, at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker.
The victor of this two-match series will secure a prestigious place in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals, which are set to take place in Morocco from October 17th to November 8th.
This year’s tournament will feature an expanded format with 24 participating nations, including five teams from Africa, with Morocco as the host country.
