NPFL: Andy Okpe tasks Rivers United’s teammates to shrug off Enyimba defeat

Rivers United striker, Andy Okpe has called on his teammates to look beyond their embarrassing defeat to Enyimba on Sunday.
The Pride of Rivers were humbled 4-1 by the reigning champions in their Matchday 34 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounter in Aba on Sunday.
Okpe opened the scoring for Rivers United in the game before Akanni Elijah and Chijioke Mbaoma scored a brace each for the People’s Elephants.
The former Remo Stars forward urged his teammates to continue to push till the end of the season.
“Heads-up Lads, impossible is nothing, we fight to the end,” he wrote on X.
Rivers United will host Shooting Stars next at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium this weekend.
