Taiwo Lawal bags 13th goal of the season in Atasehir Belediyespor win

Nigeria international, Taiwo Lawal bagged her 13th league goal of the season in Atasehir Belediyespor 2-1 win against Faith Vatan in the Turkish women’s league encounter on Saturday.
Playing in her 20th game of the season, Lawal was a threatening force in the defense of Faith Vatan with her tremendous run and exquisite touches.
Lawal broke the deadlock of the game with a superb goal in the 18 yard box to give ger side a deserved lead in the game.
Atasehir Belediyespor dominated possession in the tough encounter and had chances to add to their tally in the game.
Against all odds, Faith Vatan equalized to ignite the tempo of the match.
Despite, Atasehir were reduced to ten players but it didn’t deter the players from finding the winner.
A late chance fell on the path of Higuera who wasted no chance in sealing an important 2-1 win for Atasehir Belediyespor.
Lawal have been prolific in her debut season in the Turkish topflight league with 13 goals and contributed five assists in 20 league games.
