The Super Falcons midfielder graduated from the Florida State University (FSU) this month after her outstanding performance on the field of play

Before departing the States, Echegini capped up her year by being named the Honda Sport Award winner as the third player in FSU women’s football history to win the award.

The Super Falcons player had another spectacular season for the season as she posted a career-high and ACC-leading 16 goals for the 2023 National Championship.

Her 16 goals were tied for the eighth-most in school history and the most goals since Deyna Castellanos in 2017.

Echegini was also named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year and was the ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP).

2023 started with Echegini becoming one of the key members of the Super Falcons squad.
