Former Nigeria international Odion Ighalo’s crucial goal in the 76th minute helped Al Wehda secure a vital 3-1 win over fellow relegation strugglers Al Raed in the Saudi Pro League.
This victory marks only their fourth win of the league season, with Al Wehda now sitting on 17 points from 24 matches, just two points away from safety.
Ighalo, who plays as a forward for Al Wehda, has been in impressive form, scoring five goals so far this season.
His experience and presence on the pitch have been a significant boost to his team’s morale and confidence.
