Chioma Olise extends stay with Trabzonspor

Nigerian midfielder Chioma Olise has officially extended her contract with Turkish Women’s Super League side Trabzonspor, committing to an additional one-year deal following an impressive debut season.
The 20-year-old former Edo Queens captain joined Trabzonspor in January 2025 and made an immediate impact, despite arriving midway through the season.
In just nine appearances, Olise showcased her creativity and midfield dominance, contributing one goal and two assists and helping the team secure a fifth-place finish in the league.
Olise began her career in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, representing Royal Queens and Edo Queens, where she also served as captain.
Her consistent performances and leadership qualities have now earned her continued recognition and opportunity in Europe.
Her contract renewal underscores Trabzonspor’s commitment to building a competitive side and fostering emerging talent from across the globe.
