Türkiye WSL: Oluwatosin Demehin on Target as Galatasaray Take Five-Goal Thriller

In a pulsating İstanbul derby, Galatasaray emerged victorious over Fenerbahçe in a five-goal thriller, winning 3-2 thanks to late drama from Oluwatosin Demehin and Marie Ngah Manga.

Fenerbahçe had initially taken the lead through Jang Chang in the 19th minute.

Galatasaray responded before halftime when Andrea Staskova found the net in the 41st minute and then doubled her impact with another strike early in the second half (46’), putting the home side ahead 2-1.

As the match seemed to be slipping away from the visitors, Oluwatosin Demehin delivered a sublime equaliser in the 88th minute, sending the Galatasaray supporters into a frenzy.

Just when it looked like the derby might end in a draw, Marie Ngah Manga struck a dramatic winner in stoppage time (90+2’), completing a memorable turnaround.

The win keeps Galatasaray in the hunt for the title, closing the gap on leaders Fenerbahçe to just four points with the season entering its crucial stages.
