Former Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu has completed a two-year deal with Iraqi Stars League powerhouse Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya SC, embarking on a new chapter in his career.
The 32-year-old Nigerian forward joins one of Iraq’s most successful clubs as he continues his football journey in the Middle East ahead of the new season.
As part of the agreement, Okpotu is set to earn approximately $7,000 per month over the course of his two-year contract.
The experienced striker, who rose to prominence during his time with Nigeria Premier Football League side Lobi Stars, is expected to add firepower to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya’s attack as the club aims to challenge for domestic honours in the upcoming Iraqi Stars League campaign.
