Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen enjoyed a notable encounter with Nigerian business mogul Tony Elumelu during his journey back to Turkey on Wednesday, where he is set to rejoin Galatasaray for the club’s pre-season preparations.
According to reports, Osimhen and Elumelu travelled on the same private jet, using the opportunity to engage in conversations covering football, business, family and life experiences.
The meeting highlighted the strong bond the pair have built over the years. Around two years ago, Osimhen paid Elumelu a courtesy visit while spending his holiday in Nigeria, and they have maintained a cordial relationship ever since.
The 27-year-old striker is expected to report for training on Friday as Galatasaray officially begin preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.
Osimhen is expected to play a central role for the Turkish champions once again, with his early arrival reflecting his commitment as Galatasaray prepare to defend their league crown and compete across multiple competitions in the upcoming season.
