CAFCC: “The Spirit Is Very High…We Are Going To Get It Right This Time,” Rivers United Goalkeeper, Darlington Ovunda Declares

As preparations for the CAF Confederations Cup playoff tie heightens, goalkeeper Darlington Ovunda has revealed the spirit within the camp of the Pleasure of Rivers forward of the sport on Wednesday Sports247 experiences.

“The spirit could be very excessive and we’re very optimistic that come Wednesday, we’re going to get it proper this time, Darlington advised Sports247.

Rivers United dropped from the CAF Champions League after a 7-2 mixture defeat within the palms of the defending champions, Wydad Athletic of Morocco and now face Libyan aspect El Nasr Benghazi in a two-legged one shot likelihood at making the group stage of the confederations cup.

“We’re very ready, the boys are, the spirit could be very excessive like I stated and we’re hoping to ship on Wednesday,” he acknowledged.

The sport is scheduled for 2pm Nigerian time on Wednesday, 2nd November on the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Portharcourt, Rivers State.
