Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup: Moje Queens, Eletu Queens complete last four line up

Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship sides, Moje Queens and Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens have qualified for the semi-final of the maiden Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup on Sunday.
The group stage of the tournament in honour of former Super Falcons player was concluded on Sunday with semi-final places earlier claimed by Imo Strikers and Delta Queens with a game to spear respectively.
In Group A, Moje Queens of Erin Ile, Kwara State made it to the semi-final after a goalless draw with Anambra Angels. The Kwara State-based club finished second in Group A with two points after two games behind Delta Babes (4 points).
In Group B, Harmony Achifula scored her third goal of the tournament to help Imo Strikers to a 1-0 win over Fortress Ladies.
Elsewhere in Group B, goals from Osundina Femi, Ikediuba Peace, and Adebanjo Ayanfe lifted Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens to a 3-1 win over 2022 Ogun State FA Cup Champions, Castmog Academy.
Abdulkareem Ramota scored for Castmog Academy for her side’s first goal of the tournament.
Imo Strikers top group A at the end of the group stage with a maximum of nine points ahead of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens with six points, while Anambra Angels, Fortress Ladies, and Castmog Academy crashed out of the event.
The semi-final of the Maiden Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup will take centre stage on Monday as Delta Queens and Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens open the floor ahead of the second semi-final clash between Imo Strikers and Moje Queens.
