Moses Simon fancies Nantes’ Europa League chances against Juventus

Nigerian winger Moses Simon says Nantes have all it takes to secure a decent result against Italian giants, Juventus when both side meet for UEFA Europa League Round of 16 clash on Thursday.

Simon and his French side will be Turin for the first leg of the European football encounter where they are expected to face one of the favorites for the title.

Despite the huge reputation of the Old Lady on  the European scene, the Super Eagles forward said Nantes has the talent to beat Juventus adding that the French side can get the better of their hosts.

“I think the only thing we are waiting for is a victory against Juventus,” Simon told the Europa League’s website.

“But we all know that in football you never know. Juventus is a great club, they have a great team. But we just have to wait for D-Day, and the best will win.”

Meanwhile, Nantes will head into the match in Turin without their Cameroonian striker, Ignatius Ganago who has been asked to stay out following the demise of his five year old daughter.
