‘Goal of the Year’ – Trabzonspor coach Abdullah Avci praises Paul Onuachu

Trabzonspor coach Abdullah Avci has showered praises on Paul Onuachu for his spectacular goal against Konyaspor that helped them secure a 2-1 win.
The Nigerian striker who couldn’t find the back of the net after his move to Premier League side Southampton has been superb for the former Turkish champions since he arrived.
Onuachu stole the show when Trabzonspor welcomed Konyaspor to Papara Park on Friday evening.
The former Genk man netted twice with his last ending up as the winning goal which was a spectacular Puskas-worthy strike in the 85th minute.
“I congratulate Onuachu; his second goal may be the goal of the year. It was a very rare goal,” Avci said after the game.
“I do not doubt the goodwill of the team. We need to go further by increasing our energy and improving our game.”
