Nathan Tella describes maiden Super Eagles call-up a dream come true

Bayer Leverkusen prodigy, Nathan Tella has described his first call up to the Nigeria national team as a dream come true.
The winger was included in the 23 players squad list by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to execute the games 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Tella who has finally ditched his country of birth, England to the Super Eagles said, it’s a great feeling and opportunity to excel at the international stage.
He added, he has always dreamt of representing Nigeria as a young boy and can’t wait to step on the pitch to win matches for the tea
“It’s a great feeling and a great opportunity for me. As a young boy and a footballer, you dream of representing your own country – and now I finally have the opportunity to do so. I can’t wait and I’m really looking forward to it,” Tella was quoted by Bayer Leverkusen.
The games against Zimbabwe and Lesotho will provide Tella the opportunity to make his debut for the Super Eagles.
The tricky winger will be an added advantage and option to gaffer, Jose Peseiro at the flanks.
