Ahmed Musa returns, Osimhen, Lookman out of Super Eagles’ squad for Ghana, Russia friendlies

Head Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Eric Chelle has included captain Ahmed Musa in the 25-man squad for the upcoming Unity Cup tournament and international friendly match.
The Super Eagles will be taking on Black Stars of Ghana in the Unity Cup elated for GTech Stadium in Brentford on 27th of the month before taking on Russia in an international friendly in June.
Chelle had earlier disclosed that the invitational tournament will be used to test fresh legs that will be integrated into the main team.
The Malian, however extended invitations to number of new players and handed a fresh chance for those that were earlier featured for the national team.
Notable among the absentees are striker Victor Osimhen and Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman.
In a release made available to NigeriaFootball.ng by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF on Wednesday, Chelle will be prosecuting the Russia friendly with some leaders in the team including Vice captain, Williams Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Ola Aina.
The Unity Cup tournament will kick off with the first semi-final on Tuesday, 27th May as Trinidad & Tobago tackle Jamaica while Super Eagles will engage Ghana the following day in another Jollof Derby.
The 3rd place and the final matches will be decided on Saturday 31st of May.
For the Russia friendly, it will take place at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on Friday 6th of June.
