CAF President Patrice Motsepe Mourns Former Super Eagles Striker Michael Eneramo

The President of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Nigerian international, Michael Eneramo.

In an official statement, Dr Motsepe, on behalf of CAF and its 54 Member Associations, extended heartfelt condolences to the Nigeria Football Federation and its President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, as well as to the family of the late Eneramo and the people of Nigeria.

Eneramo, who represented Nigeria at the international level, enjoyed a distinguished club career spanning multiple countries.

He featured for Lobi Stars in Nigeria, Espérance Sportive de Tunis in Tunisia, and Turkish giants Beşiktaş J.K., among others.

Dr Motsepe described Eneramo’s passing as a significant loss to African football and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.

May his soul rest in peace.
