ABeyond Limit Football Academy emerged victorious in the 2026 Ogun State FA Cup, defeating Stormers SC 2-1 at a thrilling final held in Abeokuta on Saturday.
This marks only the second time in the club’s history that they have lifted the prestigious title.
Stormers SC initially took the lead in the 20th minute, putting Beyond Limit on the back foot. However, the Academy responded early in the second half. In the 48th minute, Oreoluwa’s well-delivered free kick forced an own goal from the opposition, leveling the score at 1-1.
Just three minutes later, Yusuf Omoowo sealed the victory with a stunning long-range strike, ensuring Beyond Limit held onto a 2-1 advantage until the final whistle.
With this triumph, Beyond Limit Football Academy will represent Ogun State in the upcoming President Federation Cup, carrying the hopes of their fans onto the national stage.
