Fenerbahçe fans celebrate Bright Osayi-Samuel’s heroism with murals on the streets

Fenerbahçe fans have produced a graffiti mural of Bright Osayi-Samuel punching a pitch invader while defending his Fenerbahce teammates after Sunday’s away game against Trabzonspor.
Nigerian defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, who plays for Turkish club, Fenerbahçe, was seen knocking a violent pitch invader to the ground during a chaotic on-pitch brawl on Sunday night.
Fenerbahce players gathered in the middle of the pitch to celebrate their 3-2 comeback victory when Trabzonspor fans suddenly made their way onto the pitch to attack them.
Osayi-Samuel can be seen celebrating when he suddenly notices a pitch invader. he confronted the aggressor, defending himself against a punch and retaliating with one of his own, as a security guard swiftly subdued the unruly fan.
The 26-year-old’s courageous act of facing an assaulter during the break-out fight has given him recognition amongst Fenerbahce’s fans.
Chants of his name echoed through the air, accompanied by gestures of admiration and support from the devoted supporters.
Following his heroics, a graffiti mural has been made by Fenerbahce fans.
The graffiti depicted the iconic image of the Nigerian defender pinning a pitch invader to the ground while making a motion to swing at him.
The street art was made in Fenerbahce colours, bright yellow and deep blue, and had the following caption, “Fight like your fans,” underscoring his ascent into becoming a cult hero amongst the fanbase of the Turkish giants.
