The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled the first batch of coaches selected for the CAF B-License Certification Programme, which will run from April to August 2025.

NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, confirmed that the chosen coaches have been notified and are instructed to check their emails for further instructions regarding the programme.

The four-month course, divided into modules, is designed to enhance the coaching skills of both male and female coaches across the country. The initiative aims to promote inclusivity, offering equal opportunities for all participants.

The NFF reported a strong response to the registration process, which closed on February 25. Eguavoen revealed that the federation plans to announce the successful applicants for the second and third batches in the coming weeks.

This new programme follows the success of the CAF C-License course for women held last year, which saw 30 participants, including former Nigeria international players.

The NFF’s focus on coaching development continues to reflect its commitment to improving football standards at all levels in the country.
