Ahead of the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) slated to kick off on March 31st, the league is set to organize coaching and referees refresher courses.

The three-day course will be held virtually via Zoom application from Monday, March 24, to Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Tagged “Coaches and Referees Refresher Course 3.0”, the program aims to brush up the skills and knowledge of participants in the laws of the game, new developments, and prerequisites ahead of the 2025 season.

Coaches role, style, planning, training, and match coaching will be examined during the coaching course.

Facilitators and instructors for the event include FIFA Beach Soccer Instructor and NBSL Head of Technical Study Group (TSG), Sunday Okayi; CAF License Coaches and Nigeria National Beach Soccer Team Coaches/NBSL Technical committee members, Coach Abdullahi Isa and Christopher Kadiri; and an external facilitator.

Teams participating in the 2025 NBSL are expected to nominate three coaches and a player for the course. Ex Beach Soccer Internationals are also invited for the course.

Participants are urged to download zoom App and test run it before the course commence on Monday.

Certificates will be issued to participating coaches and referees at the end of the course.
