Kada BSC, Kebbi Fishers, Jigawa Golden Stars start 2026 NBSL Round two on winning notes

Former Nigeria Beach Soccer League champions Kada BSC continued their impressive form with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Niger BSC as Round Two of the 2026 NBSL got underway in Kaduna on Friday.
Tanko Emmanuel starred for Kada BSC with a brace, while Dozie Frank and Sani Hassan also found the back of the net in an entertaining contest.
Niger BSC responded through goals from Olayinka Joseph, Abraham Jude, and Hassan Abubakar, but it was not enough to prevent defeat.
Earlier in the day, Kebbi Fishers BSC produced a dominant performance to thrash defending champions Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors 7-2 in one of the standout fixtures of Matchday One.
Hamza Manga and Sadiqee Umar both scored twice for the three-time champions, while Taiwo Adams, Badmus Fuad, and goalkeeper Nuhu Nura added further goals to complete the rout.
Peter Prosper and Patrick Onyebuchi scored the consolation goals for the Nnewi-based side.
Meanwhile, Ibom BSC and Jigawa Golden Stars BSC played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in regulation time.
Elijah Eboh, Uwana Ufo, and Aliyu Aliyu were on target for Ibom BSC, while Ali Rabiu delivered a man-of-the-match performance with a hat-trick for Jigawa Golden Stars.
Jigawa Golden Stars eventually triumphed 3-2 on penalties to emerge winners after the dramatic contest.
Earlier in the morning, the youth tournament also produced exciting action as Mustard Seed defeated El-Cruzero 2-1, while Young Brazil claimed a 4-2 victory over Kaduna State University.
Action continues on Saturday as teams intensify their push for qualification to the Super Four stage of the competition.
