Rumour Mills: Azeez Falolu set for NPFL return after short stint in Libyan League

Nigerian midfielder Azeez Falolu is preparing to return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after a brief spell with Libyan side Al Sadaqa.

Falolu joined Al Sadaqa midway through the 2024/25 NPFL season, having previously featured for Katsina United.

The 20-year-old impressed last season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 18 appearances for the Chanji Boys.

The creative midfielder, who has also played for Warri Wolves and Akwa United, is reportedly attracting interest from several NPFL clubs and is expected to finalize his next move before the start of the new season.

Falolu aims to build on his growing reputation and gain valuable experience back in Nigeria’s top flight.
