Ademola Lookman set for Milan duel, Atalanta coach after Afcon 2023 campaign

Atalanta manager, Gian Gasperini has disclosures that in-form forward, Ademola Lookman will play against AC Milan on Sunday.

It will be Lookman’s first appearance for the La Dea (The Goddess) after his brilliant display for Nigeria at the 2023 AFCON where he scored three goals.

Gasperini is looking unto Lookman’s appearance for the club against Milan and revealed he’s much better and looks good in training.

The gaffer said the dynamic attacker is ready to get into the mix of the action against the Rossoneri.

“His return is another reinforcement for us, he looked good in training yesterday and the pain from his injury was much better,” Gasperini said at the Prematch Presser.

“He is ready to play tomorrow (Sunday).”

Atalanta are with 45 points from 24 games in the Italian Serie A and are seven points adrift of their next opponent (Milan) on Sunday.
