Dreams FC arrive Uyo ahead of deciding CAF Confederation Cup clash with Rivers United

Contingent of Dreams FC from Accra, Ghana have safely landed in Uyo the capital of Akwa Ibom State in readiness for their important CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Rivers United.

The Ghanaian side touched down at the Victor Obong Atta Airport in the early hours of Saturday.

The team led by Coach Abdul Karim Zito need just a point from the game to secure a place in the quarter-finals having garnered 12 points from five games played.

Rivers United occupy third position in the group with nine points from same number of matches and will require a convincing victory with wider goal margin to qualify for the knockout round.

The encounter is slated for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.

Tunisia’s Club Africain and Academica do Lobito of Angola will clash in the other group game.
