Kogi State Government Donates Brand New Bus to Confluence Queens

Kogi State Commissioner of Information, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has announced the presentation of a brand-new coaster bus to the state’s women’s football team, Confluence Queens, at the Government House in Lokoja.

Speaking during the presentation, Commissioner Fanwo said, “It was an honor to represent The Chief Servant of Kogi State in presenting this bus to our female football team today. His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, provided the bus through the office of our amiable Chief of Staff to ameliorate the challenges faced by our female footballers.”

He added, “With this new vehicle, our players can now travel with comfort while helping to project the Kogi brand wherever they go.”

The Commissioner also noted the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, which expressed gratitude to the Governor for the thoughtful gesture.

Fanwo concluded with words of encouragement to the team: “Congratulations, girls. Go and do us proud.”

The donation underscores the Kogi State Government’s commitment to supporting sports development and promoting the welfare of athletes across the state.
