Bashir Usman’s return boosts Niger Tornadoes ahead of Shooting Stars duel

Niger Tornadoes have received good news of Bashir Usman’s return to full fitness as they set to host Shooting Stars in Kaduna on Monday.
The Ikon Allah Boys have been riding on impressive performance of Usman in recent times with the young winger producing match winning impacts.
Usman missed Tornadoes’ last three games due to a knee injury and has been confirmed fit to play against the Oluyole Warriors in the Matchday 27 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounter.
The youngster is Tornadoes’ top scorer with six goals this campaign and is expected to help his side raise their game to beat the drop at the end of the season.
Monday’s encounter is slated for Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna by 4pm. The Ikon Allah Boys secured a 2-0 win against Shooting Stars in their previous meeting in 2022 thanks to goals from Martins Usule and Munir Idris.

Usman, who has been instrumental for Tornadoes this season with six goals to his name, missed their last three games due to the injury.

The encounter, scheduled to take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna at 4pm, holds significant importance for both teams as they aim to secure crucial points in their respective campaigns.

In their previous meeting in 2022, Niger Tornadoes emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Shooting Stars, courtesy of goals from Martins Usule and Munir Idris.
