2024 Federation Cup: Gamji Eaglets, Warinje FC, and more seal Round of 64 spots

Following the conclusion of the Play-Off round, six clubs have punched their tickets to the Round of 64 in the 2024 Federation Cup.
Taraba’s Gamji Eaglets clinched their spot after a tense battle against Classic FC from Adamawa, eventually prevailing 5-4 on penalties in a deadlock-breaking shootout.
Bauchi’s Warinje FC emerged victorious in a goalless stalemate against Simon Ben Academy from Kaduna, triumphing 3-2 in penalties to secure their advancement.
Zamfara United Feeders booked their Round of 64 berth after a hard-fought 1-1 draw with PRO Line from Kano, eventually sealing the win 5-4 on penalties.
Ine Stars from Edo State displayed their prowess with a commanding 2-0 victory over Crusaders FC from Bayelsa, securing their place in the next round.
PCM FC from Ebonyi State bid farewell to Kogi’s KC FC after a thrilling 3-2 win, advancing to the Round of 64.
Fr. Eburuaja from Imo State sealed their spot in the next round after defeating Flight FC from Benue 2-1, ending the latter’s Federation Cup journey.
The draw for the Round of 64, which will feature teams from various leagues including the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL), as well as non-league sides, will be conducted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) soon.
In 2023, Bendel Insurance clinched the Federation Cup title, earning a qualification spot for the CAF Confederation Cup.
