Super Eagles will miss Victor Osimhen, admits Wilfred Ndidi

Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi has claimed that the Super Eagles team is blessed with talented strikers who can replace injured Victor Osimhen.
The Leicester City midfielder missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nation in Cote d’Ivoire due to injury and he is set to make his first appearance ever since when they the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a World Cup qualifiers on Friday.
Goal poacher, Osimhen has been ruled out of the clash and was replaced by Rangers full-back, Kenneth Igboke. However, Ndidi is optimistic that Nigeria can win their next World Cup qualifying matches without Osimhen.
“Osimhen is a great player, he’s a hustler. I call him a hustler because he plays like a street footballer with strength and a strong mentality,” as quoted by Sportsration.
“There is no doubt that we are going to miss him. He’s quite important to the team because he drives the team forward and he has great impact.
“However, we have many great strikers who can bring their dynamics into the team and make an impact.”
