Rumour Mills: Ex-Super Eagles teammate hints at Osimhen’s next club destination

John Ogu, a former teammate of Victor Osimhen in the Nigerian national team, has hinted at a potential move for the Napoli striker.
Despite Osimhen’s renewal of his contract with Napoli last October, he has expressed a strong desire to leave the Italian club this summer.
Osimhen has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as French Ligue 1 giants PSG and Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
However, Chelsea appears to be the leading contender for his signature.
The potential move to Stamford Bridge is further fueled by ongoing negotiations between Chelsea and Napoli regarding the transfer of Romelu Lukaku.
On Thursday, Ogu took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote what has now been deleted: “Osimhen to Chelsea… Here we go!!!”
This statement has fueled speculation that a deal for Osimhen to join Chelsea might be imminent.
